Your favorite Dr. Seuss books are coming to a tablet or e-reader near you, reports The Associated Press.

Classics like The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham and even his picture books like Fox in Socks and Horton Hears a Who! will be available for your digital and life-lesson perusal this fall.

Random House Children’s Books announced Wednesday that 15 Dr. Seuss stories will be available as e-books starting Sept. 24. More e-book versions of the iconic writer’s works will be released in October and November.

“We are delighted that today’s parents, their children, and educators can now add Dr. Seuss’s classics to their digital bookshelves, joining the cherished hardcovers that we have all grown up with,” Barbara Marcus, president and publisher of Random House Children’s Books, told Publisher’s Weekly.

We wonder if many of Dr. Seuss’ characters, like the sneetches or Horton or Sam I Am, could ever imagine they would come to young people’s lives via a portable touchscreen with a flick of a tiny thumb? But, then again, that’s part of the dreamy appeal of Seussian tales — oh the places you’ll go as a beloved children’s writer!
