Netflix isn’t slowing down on its original series game — even though the star of its next show is a snail.

The streaming and rental service is now entering the market for original kids programming. Netflix has announced that this winter, it will premiere Turbo Fast, a cartoon about an “adrenaline-fueled snail stunt team.” Turbo Fast is based on the 2013 movie Turbo, from DreamWorks Animation. Veep‘s Reid Scott voices snail protagonist Turbo — stepping in for film star Ryan Reynolds — while Community‘s Ken Jeong reprises his role in the movie, playing manicurist Kim Ly.

“We’ve long said that Netflix is revolutionizing the television industry and now we are thrilled to officially be a part of it,” DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg said in a statement. “They have been fantastic partners whose vision has given our characters an amazing platform to be enjoyed by families around the world.”

Turbo Fast will premiere on Dec. 24 at 12:01 a.m. PT. Though Netflix usually releases every episode of a given original simultaneously, it’s using a different distribution strategy for its first kids show: Five episodes of the new animated series will be available to stream during the holiday season, with more episodes premiering during the new year.
