New trailer for 'Turbo,' starring the voice of Ryan Reynolds, now online

Dreamworks’ answer to Disney’s Cars – and every superhero story that begins with a life-changing, mutation-causing disaster — just got a new trailer.

Turbo, the animated movie about a snail who wishes he were speedy kicks things into high gear when a highway accident sucks him into the engine of a sports car. One dash of nitric oxide, one journey through this snail’s changing anatomy, and one power up ballad later, we’ve got ourselves a very speedy snail — who by the way is voiced by Ryan Reynolds.

Check out the new trailer, which hit the web today, below:

Mind-blowing fact number 1: The little kid from Love, Actually — a.k.a. British actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster — will be 23 years old in May.

Mind-blowing fact number 2: He’s playing mysterious, prophetic teenager Jojen Reed on Game of Thrones this season.

Mind-blowing fact number 3: Brodie-Sangster also voices taciturn, green-haired Ferb on Phineas and Ferb. And the girl who played his Love, Actually love interest also plays Ferb’s crush, Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, in Disney’s cartoon. Whooaa.

Obviously, actors act — it’s right there in their job description! — and that necessarily means that they should have the ability to tackle all sorts of projects. Still, Phineas and GoT are about as different as two TV shows can be… and chances are that a lot of Thrones-loving parents will find themselves in the same position as TV critic Alan Sepinwall this spring:

'Gravity Falls' exclusive clip: Things are looking down

Gravity Falls takes its name from the small town that serves as the kooky cartoon’s setting — but in this week’s episode, Stan, Dipper, Mabel, and Soos will see that name get literalized when they find themselves descending into a bottomless pit.

Naturally, it’s a long way down; luckily, each member of the gang helps to pass the time by telling a different story to the group. Get a sneak peek at Mabel’s tale in the clip below –a colorful yarn involving a wild beast, a police officer, and a suspicious doctor’s note (“Stan is sick and needs a bear. — Dr. Medicine”)

After weeks of waiting, the mane event is finally almost here. Tomorrow morning, Twilight Sparkle will finally earn her wings and become a princess in Friendship Is Magic‘s third season finale. (Well, technically the coronation won’t happen until later in the episode…but who’s counting?)

First, though, the unicorn will have to grapple with a curse that switches around all of her friends’ cutie marks — thus messing with their destinies. “Twilight uses her wits and her love of her friends and ingenuity to figure out what’s going on,” voice actress Tara Strong (who plays Twilight) explained in an interview this week. “It’s a very exciting episode. There’s a lot of twists and turns, and things that you think are going to go wrong, and wonderful music.”

Speaking of that music: “Magical Mystery Cure” features a full score and seven different musical numbers by composer/lyricist Daniel Ingram and lyricist M.A. Larson, who doubles as the episode’s screenwriter — all in about 21 minutes and 45 seconds of airtime. Here’s a sneak peek at the opening number, an “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’” style tune about starting a day off in Ponyville:
