It’s two nerdy tastes that taste great together!

Hasbro announced this morning that its KRE-O construction brand — think “rhymes-with-Schmego” — is joining forces with Dungeons & Dragons, the fantasy role-playing game that’s been synonymous with “nerdery” since 1974 — and which, as luck would have it, is owned by Hasbro’s subsidiary Wizards of the Coast. The toys are set to hit shelves next January.

D&D fans lucky enough to be in San Diego later this week can check out the new sets at Hasbro’s Comic-Con booth. From 9-10 a.m. on Friday, July 19, they’ll also get a chance to receive a special edition KRE-O D&D collectable poster, as seen above. KRE-O sets themed around Star Trek, Transformers, and G.I. Joe will be on display at the booth as well.
