'Dog With a Blog': Get a sneak peek at season 2 -- EXCLUSIVE

Growing up isn’t easy — even when your BFF is a wisecracking dog with his very own URL.

That’s the general gist of “Too Short,” the first episode of Dog With a Blog‘s second season. As the title implies, the story revolves around height-challenged Avery (G. Hannelius), who heads back to school only to find that she’s the only one who didn’t have a growth spurt over the summer. Thankfully, Avery’s well-intentioned mother Ellen (Beth Littleford) is there to make the kid feel better about her shortcomings.

Well, maybe not. “I run into the living room, find her sitting on the couch, and say, ‘Honey, I hear you’re having issues. With your body. Let’s talk. Why don’t you just point to a part of your body… and we’ll talk about it?'” Littleford tells EW, laughing. “Just Just incredibly awkward… And of course, she screams and runs away.” Watch that cringe-inducing moment below:

'Good Luck Charlie' grows up: Sneak peek at flash-forward episode

Looks like Charlie was lucky after all — she’ll grow up to be played by Ava Sambora, daughter of Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear, in an episode of Disney Channel’s family sitcom set to air this Sunday.

This peek at what’s to come is part of Disney’s upcoming Flash Forward Weekend, which will include future-themed episodes of Good Luck Charlie as well as A.N.T. Farm, Austin & Ally, Dog with a Blog, Fish Hooks, Jessie, and Shake It Up. Saturday, July 27 features the dance-along edition of Disney’s latest original musical, Teen Beach Movie, as well.

'Dog With a Blog': Exclusive peek at holiday episode, a.k.a. 'Bark! The Herald Angels Sing'

Deck the halls with doggies blogging! (Fa la la la la, la la la la)
‘Tis the season for yule-logging! (Fa la la la la, la la la la)

This weekend, Disney Channel will air a holiday-themed episode of its new series Dog with a Blog. “Bark! The Herald Angels Sing” finds the blended Jennings clan celebrating its first Christmas as a family — which, naturally, leads to a few butting heads.

Take this exclusive clip, for example, in which parents Bennett (Regan Burns) and Ellen (Beth Littleford) begin battling for holiday cookie supremacy. “Suffice it to say, I’ve had my fill of holiday cookies for the year,” Littleford tells EW via email. “And I’m still picking crumbs out of my bra.”

'Dog With a Blog': Tyler learns how to drive -- EXCLUSIVE CLIP

In its second episode of the series, Disney Channel’s new show Dog With a Blog is delving into a rite-of-passage that anyone over age 16 probably remembers well. Tyler – one half of the show’s pair of step-siblings who discover their dog can talk – is learning how to drive, and it’s debatable whether or not his dad (Regan Burns) is all that helpful of a teacher.

EW has an exclusive clip from the episode, “The Fast and the Furriest,” which airs this Sunday. Check it out below. READ FULL STORY
