Get ready to say goodbye to 'Good Luck Charlie' -- EXCLUSIVE CLIP

Big changes are afoot for the Duncan family. Oldest sister Teddy is heading off to college. Youngest sister Charlie is developing a feisty personality. And their show itself is wrapping up for good — Sunday, Feb. 16 marks Good Luck Charlie‘s series finale.

Naturally, the hourlong event will be filled with teary eyes, hugs — and, of course, plenty of gentle jokes. All three have a place in this exclusive clip from the series’s last episode, which finds the Duncans sitting down for Teddy’s last breakfast at home. Warning: You might just find yourself getting misty as well.

Disney Channel features its first gay couple on 'Good Luck Charlie' -- VIDEO

Near the beginning of last Sunday’s all new Good Luck Charlie, parents Bob and Amy Duncan briefly tangle over who, exactly, is coming over for a playdate with their daughter Charlie. Amy says she’s invited a kid named Taylor and his parents, including his mother Susan. Bob says that he’s also met Taylor’s mother — but he could swear her name is Cheryl.

There’s some classic sitcom back-and-forth arguing before the doorbell rings and the truth is revealed: Taylor has two mothers. And perhaps more importantly, the show treats this fact like it’s no big deal. (Taylor and Charlie’s playdate isn’t even the episode’s A-plot; instead, most of the half-hour revolves around big sister Teddy and her best friend Ivy, who’s preparing to leave for college.)

'Good Luck Charlie' grows up: Sneak peek at flash-forward episode

Looks like Charlie was lucky after all — she’ll grow up to be played by Ava Sambora, daughter of Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear, in an episode of Disney Channel’s family sitcom set to air this Sunday.

This peek at what’s to come is part of Disney’s upcoming Flash Forward Weekend, which will include future-themed episodes of Good Luck Charlie as well as A.N.T. Farm, Austin & Ally, Dog with a Blog, Fish Hooks, Jessie, and Shake It Up. Saturday, July 27 features the dance-along edition of Disney’s latest original musical, Teen Beach Movie, as well.

'Good Luck Charlie' to end Disney Channel run after four seasons

Has Teddy Duncan taught her baby sister Charlie everything she needs to know? Disney seems to think so. The network revealed last night that the fourth season of Good Luck Charlie will be the comedy’s last.

“‘That’s a wrap’ will be called on the production after four years with creators/executive producers Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen and executive producer Dan Staley,” a rep for Disney said in a statement. “The cast and crew are superb and we will look forward to the big finale episode the creative team is planning.” READ FULL STORY

Ahhhh! It’s Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear hanging out with Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) in the season 4 premiere of Good Luck Charlie (April 28, 7:30-8:00 p.m., ET/PT). We must be dreaming. Well, actually Teddy is. When a nasty case of termites means that the Duncan family must build a new house, almost everyone is thrilled at the possibility of an upgrade. But Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, and Animal appear to Teddy in a dream to convince her that the old family home is really the house of her dreams.

Take a look a the exclusive clip below, which features Kermit singing the episode’s original song “Dream House,”  written by Grammy and Emmy-award winning songwriter Adam Schlesinger (“That Thing You Do,” “Fountains of Wayne,” “Tony Awards”) and produced by Schlesinger and Steven M. Gold (“Saturday Night Live,” “The Colbert Report”).
