In this Friday’s episode of Jessie, our heroine, Jessie Prescott (Debby Ryan) decides to celebrate her first anniversary with Tony (Chris Galya) by writing him a love song. What could go wrong? Well, after mistakenly thinking he has forgotten their special day, Jessie writes an angry song instead. And it goes viral.
Judging by our exclusive clip, these crazy kids reconcile by episode’s end. In the video, Jessie performs ”The Best Year” (a song that Ryan co-wrote with producer John Fields) and there’s an adorable montage of the happy couple. Watch it here:
Don’t feel bad if the name Maia Mitchell doesn’t ring a bell. The young actress is primarily known for her work on Australian TV (Mortified, Trapped). But that could change soon, as 19-year-old Mitchell seems primed for a breakout year in the U.S. Tonight she’ll guest star on Jessie, later this year she’ll star in the Disney Channel Original Movie Teen Beach Movie, and it was just announced that her show The Fosters, executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, has been picked up by ABC Family.
