'How to Train Your Dragon 2' trailer: Vikings, dragons, and one mother of a secret -- VIDEO

Hello again, Hiccup and Toothless!

How to Train Your Dragon 2 begins five years after that dynamic duo first formed a bond that would change the island of Berk forever. (As Hiccup explains in the movie’s new trailer, “Dragons used to be a bit of a problem. But now they’ve all moved in.”) Before, Hiccup and his Viking buddies were limited to exploring land and sea; now they’ve gained access to the air as well, which means the sequel gets to feature even more beautifully animated soaring and swooping than the original.

It also means the introduction of new lands and characters — like Valka, a mysterious dragon rescuer voiced by Cate Blanchett who doubles as a figure from Hiccup’s past. (Who is she? Yeah, the trailer totally spoils the answer.)

New 'Frozen' trailer features singing: 'That's no blizzard, that's my sister' -- VIDEO

This Thanksgiving, Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Jonathan Groff will join voices forces for Disney’s latest animated tale, Frozen, which tells the story of Elsa (Menzel) — a quite literal Snow Queen.

After accidentally revealing her chilly powers and turning her kingdom to snow and ice, Elsa runs away. Her sister, Anna (Bell), quickly enlists the help of mountain man Kristoff (Groff) to retrieve Elsa and bring back summer. Along the way, there are talking snowmen, wolves, and most importantly, musical moments. After all, the only thing prettier than this cast is the sound of their voices.

Watch the new trailer for Frozen, now complete with singing, below:

'How To Train Your Dragon 2' teaser trailer: A soaring sneak peek -- VIDEO

Hiccup and Toothless are back in the soaring new teaser trailer for How to Train Your Dragon 2.

The duo — also featured in the 2010 original — are shown experimenting with some Viking-era skydiving. See the magic, along with an older Hiccup who has great hair (hopefully Astrid is as impressed as I am) here:

Hold your horses, 'My Little Pony' fans: We've got a new 'Equestria Girls' trailer -- EXCLUSIVE

Yes, the idea of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic‘s equine mane six being recast as human high school students sounds a little crazy at first.

But it’s tough not to be charmed by that premise after watching this brand-spankin’-new trailer, which clearly lays out the movie’s plot. Shortly after she’s named a princess, Twilight Sparkle’s all-important crown is stolen by wicked Sunset Shimmer, who spirits it through a looking glass. In order to get the tiara back, Twilight must follow her adversary into a new and strange world — one populated by weird-two-legged creatures who bear an odd resemblance to her pony pals back in Equestria.

There’s some rote stuff here, to be sure (“Looks like if I want my crown back, I’ll have to become princess of the fall formal!”) — but Friendship is Magic‘s quirky-cute sense of humor appears to be largely intact, which is really all that matters.

See baby Mike Wazowski in final 'Monsters University' trailer -- VIDEO

With the release of Monsters University less than a month away, Disney/Pixar has released one final trailer for the eagerly anticipated prequel to 2001’s Monsters, Inc.

In this last preview, there’s a peek at itty-bitty Mike Wazowski (which we also got to see in a Japanese trailer released in March). He’s so cute! But cute is exactly what college student Mike doesn’t want to be — he has long dreamed of becoming a top-notch Scarer. This trailer features Mike working towards that dream and finding his place at college, as he butts heads with his roommate and friend-to-be Sully. Check it out below: READ FULL STORY

Check out more menacing creatures in new trailer for 'Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters' -- VIDEO

Son of Poseidon Percy Jackson and his rag-tag team of fellow half-bloods are back this summer in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. The second trailer for the movie hit the web on Wednesday.

In Sea of Monsters, a sequel to 2010’s Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Percy (Logan Lerman) and his friends are on a quest to the Sea of Monsters (a.k.a. the Bermuda Triangle) in search of the legendary Golden Fleece, which will save their training ground, Camp Half-Blood, which is under attack.

This newest trailer features a lot of the moments seen in the first preview, but there is some new footage of a battle with monsters in an amusement park and of trouble-making Luke (Jake Abel) and his father Hermes, played by Nathan Fillion. Check it out below: READ FULL STORY

Meet Dusty and his flying friends in new trailer for Disney's 'Planes' -- VIDEO

With the newest trailer for Planes, it’s easy to see why Disney opted to put this movie on the big screen instead of go the direct-to-DVD route as originally planned.

There’s lots of animated spectacle worthy of a theater viewing in this preview: High-octane races! Lightning storms! Fireworks! Soaring over castles! Near-collisions with trains! All to the tune of an Electric Light Orchestra song that takes on a new literal meaning here. Check out the latest trailer, which hit the web Tuesday, below. READ FULL STORY

Disney's 'Planes': A relaxing ride in the sky -- VIDEO

Composer Mark Mancina’s work is on full display in this new Planes video. The mellow, breezy video feels like a long summer car ride with the wind flowing through your hair.  Of course, in this movie you’re flying over intricate landscapes, not driving. Although the film is described as an “action-packed” 3D experience, this dialogue-free video lets the drama build with the music. So grab a glass of iced tea and get swept away: READ FULL STORY

'Rio 2' teaser trailer: Join the dance party!

Jewel (Anne Hathaway) and Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) are coming back to the big screen for Rio 2 and they’re shaking it with their three kids in this trailer. The teaser doesn’t reveal a lot of plot, but the movie synopsis has the whole family leaving domestic life in the city for a journey through the Amazon, meeting animals who were born in the wild on the way. The movie has a brand new crop of voice actors, as well as old favorites, including Rita Moreno, Bruno Mars, and Kristin Chenoweth.

The movie is set to be released April 11, 2014. Check out the trailer below.: READ FULL STORY
