Disney's 'Planes': A relaxing ride in the sky -- VIDEO

Composer Mark Mancina’s work is on full display in this new Planes video. The mellow, breezy video feels like a long summer car ride with the wind flowing through your hair.  Of course, in this movie you’re flying over intricate landscapes, not driving. Although the film is described as an “action-packed” 3D experience, this dialogue-free video lets the drama build with the music. So grab a glass of iced tea and get swept away: READ FULL STORY »

'Monsters University': New trailer gives a longer look at Mike and Sully's college life -- VIDEO

School’s almost in session! In just a few short months, Disney/Pixar will unveil its first prequel: Monsters University, which finds Mike (Billy Crystal) and Sully (John Goodman) of Monsters Inc. as young, fresh-faced co-eds ready to hone their scaring skills.

Of course, there’s more to the movie than lectures and studying — as the film’s UK trailer reveals, Mike and Sully find themselves competing in the Scare Games, a cutthroat contest apparently sponsored by Monsters U’s Greek organizations. (Yes, even monsters have fraternities.) The clip also features Dame Helen Mirren’s Dean Hardscrabble, the living legend who runs the university’s prestigious School of Scaring. Basically, she’s Professor McGonnagall with more legs.

Percy Jackson lives! Check out the trailer for 'Sea of Monsters' -- VIDEO

When last we saw dyslexic demigod Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman), the son of Poseidon and his two best friends, Annabeth (a daughter of Athena, played by Alexandra Daddario) and Grover (a half-man, half-goat satyr, played by Brandon T. Jackson), were riding high after successfully tracking down Zeus’s stolen lightning bolt. But in this upcoming sequel to Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief, the trio find themselves tasked with completing another mythological labor — one that will take them all the way to the Bermuda Triangle, a.k.a. the titular Sea of Monsters.

As the second Percy Jackson movie begins, all is not well at the demigod safe haven known as Camp Half-Blood. The wicked Cronus — father of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon — is threatening to rise again and exact his vengeance on those who overthrew him. Only one thing can stop him: the Golden Fleece, a prize once sought by Jason and his Argonauts. Though Percy’s journey to capture the fleece won’t be easy, it will at least be populated by tons of colorful characters — including Stanley Tucci as wine god Dionysus and Nathan Fillion as the tricky messenger god Hermes. Catch the trailer below.

How does a monster become a professional “scarer”? By going to college and majoring in scaring of course!

In the new trailer for the Monsters, Inc. prequel Monsters University, Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James P. Sullivan (John Goodman) are roommates and rivals. Wazowkski has the brains (and the retainer to prove it), but Sulley has the size — and neither seems particularly interested in joining the art club. Watch the full trailer below: READ FULL STORY »
