Get ready for a topsy turvy time on the Disney Channel this weekend (Friday, April 5 – Sunday, April 7), with body-swapping episodes of A.N.T. Farm, Jessie, Gravity Falls, Phineas & Ferb, Dog With A BlogShake It Up, and the newly renewed Austin & Ally.

Friday’s Phineas and Ferb‘s, titled “Mind Share” (9:30 ET/PT), finds the gang switching bodies with alien tourists only to realize they were duped into being stranded in jail on an alien planet. Back on Earth, Jaime Pressly voices a character named Rosie, who Dr. Doofenshmirtz met on a square-dancing website. Perry ends up being a most excellent wingman as you’ll see from the clip below. Mind-blowing fact number 1: The little kid from Love, Actually — a.k.a. British actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster — will be 23 years old in May.

Mind-blowing fact number 2: He’s playing mysterious, prophetic teenager Jojen Reed on Game of Thrones this season.

Mind-blowing fact number 3: Brodie-Sangster also voices taciturn, green-haired Ferb on Phineas and Ferb. And the girl who played his Love, Actually love interest also plays Ferb’s crush, Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, in Disney’s cartoon. Whooaa.

Obviously, actors act — it’s right there in their job description! — and that necessarily means that they should have the ability to tackle all sorts of projects. Still, Phineas and GoT are about as different as two TV shows can be… and chances are that a lot of Thrones-loving parents will find themselves in the same position as TV critic Alan Sepinwall this spring:

New holiday episodes on Disney and Disney XD -- EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS AND VIDEO

Eric McCandless/Disney Channel

I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet but it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas over on the Disney Channel and Disney XD… okay, not quite yet. But the Disney Channel has announced its new Fa-la-la-lidays schedule, which includes holiday themed episodes for Good Luck Charlie, Phineas and Ferb, Dog With A Blog, and Shake It Up, as well as a crossover episode of Jessie and Austin & Ally. And its holiday movies this year include The Nightmare Before Christmas, Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Disney’s A Christmas Carol and the Disney Channel premiere of Secret of the Wings. And on Dec. 3, Disney XD will have holiday episodes of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, Pair of Kings, and Kickin’ It.

In Good Luck Charlie‘s “A Duncan Christmas” (Dec. 2), Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) goes a little crazy trying to ensure that Charlie gets to see Santa Claus at Super Adventure Land. Meanwhile, Shirley Jones reprises her role as Grandma Linda, who finds out that she and Amy (Leigh-Allyn Baker) are performing the same song at the family talent show. Teddy and Spencer (Shane Harper) also perform the duet “My Song For You.” Check out a clip of the duet below: READ FULL STORY »
