You know who kids love like a love song? Selena Gomez. So it makes sense that she’ll be headlining the Radio Disney Music Awards, happening April 27. The awards show will then be presented in segments featuring performances, highlights, and behind-the-scenes content across multiple platforms, including Disney channel, Vevo, Radio Disney, and the RadioDisney.com and Disney.com websites.
In a nod to its target demo, the Radio Disney music awards are less “Record of the Year” and more “XOXO – Best Crush Song” and “Ultimate Breakout Star – Biggest Viral Artist.” Other performers at the event include Bridgit Mendler, Cody Simpson, Austin Mahone (who will be opening for Taylor Swift on her upcoming tour), and Coco Jones. No word on whether or not Gomez’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber will be making an appearance and causing a massive tween freakout. READ FULL STORY »
