Dance your cares away / Worry’s for another day / Everybody say / Happy birthday, Fraggle Rock!

That’s right: It’s been three whole decades since Jim Henson’s felt-covered musical romp premiered, introducing the world (or at lest those with HBO) to level-headed Gobo, artistic Mokey, athletic Red, nervous Wembley, and worrywart Boober. And happily, the Fraggles (and their human pals) are giving fans plenty of ways to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Namely: The Hub will air a special three-hour marathon of six classic Fraggle episodes on Sunday, April 21. And on May 14, the Jim Henson company and Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment will release a massive, 21-disc 30th Anniversary Collection that includes all four seasons of the show, plus a keychain, and a graphic novel that follows the Fraggles as they set out on an all-new adventure.

Check out a promo for The Hub’s upcoming marathon below — and click onward to get your first look at the graphic novel. Look, Ma — we caught five Fraggles!

Psst, My Little Pony: You’re not the only Hub cartoon that knows its way around a pop-culture reference.

This week’s episode of Littlest Pet Shop finds Blythe appearing on a reality show called Terriers and Tiaras — a docu-series about pet pageants that looks an awful lot like a certain TLC hit. Best of all, the show’s writers seem to have been inspired by the classic Christopher Guest mockumetary Best in Show; doesn’t contestant Cindeanna Mellon remind you of Jennifer Coolidge’s character?

Start plotting your return trip to Equestria: EW can exclusively report that the fourth season of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic will premiere this winter.

There are sure to be more than a few surprises coming up for Twilight and friends. In the third-season finale, Twilight Sparkle gained her wings and became a princess. “What we didn’t want to do was change who she is as a character, because she’s certainly someone that everyone’s proud to know and love,” MLP head writer Meghan McCarthy previously told EW. “I don’t think becoming a princess really changes her; I think it’s going to introduce some new challenges for her.”

My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic airs on The Hub.

After weeks of waiting, the mane event is finally almost here. Tomorrow morning, Twilight Sparkle will finally earn her wings and become a princess in Friendship Is Magic‘s third season finale. (Well, technically the coronation won’t happen until later in the episode…but who’s counting?)

First, though, the unicorn will have to grapple with a curse that switches around all of her friends’ cutie marks — thus messing with their destinies. “Twilight uses her wits and her love of her friends and ingenuity to figure out what’s going on,” voice actress Tara Strong (who plays Twilight) explained in an interview this week. “It’s a very exciting episode. There’s a lot of twists and turns, and things that you think are going to go wrong, and wonderful music.”

Speaking of that music: “Magical Mystery Cure” features a full score and seven different musical numbers by composer/lyricist Daniel Ingram and lyricist M.A. Larson, who doubles as the episode’s screenwriter — all in about 21 minutes and 45 seconds of airtime. Here’s a sneak peek at the opening number, an “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’” style tune about starting a day off in Ponyville:

Yes, My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic is designed primarily for children. But adults who watch the show will be delighted to discover a world of references engineered to go right over its target audience’s tiny heads — specifically, homages to grown-up touchstones like Star Wars, Top Gun, and even The Big Lebowski (pictured above).

Before the cult hit airs its season finale this Saturday, get acquainted with it by watching Friendship Is Magic‘s 10 best nods to entertainment classics, placed in the order in which they appeared on the show.

1. Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope

After saving the land of Equestria from the wicked spirit Discord in season 2′s “The Return of Harmony,” the six pony pals at the center of the series are lauded as heroes — much like Luke Skywalker and Han Solo at the end of the first Star Wars movie. See the pony version of this scene below — then watch the second video to see how perfectly it syncs up with A New Hope‘s conclusion.

Citius, Altius… Ponius?

That motto could probably use some work. In the meantime: The Equestria Games are afoot! (Ahoof?)

In this week’s episode of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, the Mane Six find themselves on a mission to help the once-cursed Crystal Empire win the honor of hosting a prestigious athletic competition. One of them is particularly determined to achieve this goal — as voice actress Ashleigh Ball explained to EW during our interview,  “Rainbow Dash, she’s especially nervous because when she was a filly, Cloudsdale had the opportunity to have the Games there — and it didn’t quite work out. So she’s really desperate to see the games happen in the Crystal Empire.” See how a tiny Rainbow Dash responded to the agony of defeat in this exclusive clip:
