'Sesame Street' celebrates one billion YouTube views with a message from the Count -- VIDEO

Can you count to one billion?

YouTube can — and according to the video-sharing site, Sesame Street has officially become the first nonprofit to garner enough views to give “Gangnam Style” a run for its money. “Access to educational video used to be restricted to whatever tapes or DVDs happened to be in the library or at home,” YouTube EDU strategic partner manager Caitlin Hendrickson tells EW. “Now, high quality, entertaining, and informative content is available on demand wherever there’s an Internet connection. As a result, education is one of the fastest growing content categories on YouTube and Sesame Street is at the forefront of this growth.”

Naturally, the beloved kiddie institution is celebrating this milestone the best way it knows how — with a pair of special messages from Sesame Street‘s resident number-lover, Count Von Count.

In a post on the YouTube Blog, the Count pays tribute to one of his favorites, the number zero. (“Zero comes in very handy when there is nothing around to count… Like right now, as I look around the castle, I count zero elephants, zero airplanes, and zero Justin Bieber CDs. Wonderful.”) And in this exuberant video, he counts all the “You”s in YouTube — a project worthy of his considerable talents. Check it out below:

'Pretty Little Liars' react: 'You don't know who I am anymore'

Detective Wilden is alive! Spencer is locked up! Toby’s body is missing! Yep, I think it’s safe to say that Rosewood has officially passed Mystic Falls as the craziest place to live, and it doesn’t even have supernatural beings … that we know of. Let’s dig in!

After Melissa showed up at the school looking for Spencer, the girls set out on a very lackluster mission to find her. In their not-at-all-panicked search for Spencer, Aria decided to help Ezra find a teaching job, and Hanna convinced her mom that a job in New York might be a good thing. Meanwhile, Jane Doe (aka Spencer) was busy bonding with her caretaker at Radley, whose name just happened to be Eddie Lamb. Eddie spilled the beans that they thought Spencer might have amnesia (which was clearly false), and that the only reason she was sent to Radley was because county was full. Talk about good timing. SWITCHED-AT-BIRTH

Viewers didn’t adjust their TV sets when they discovered that Switched at Birth was being performed entirely in American Sign Language last night. Instead, they turned out in droves — making the ABC Family show the night’s biggest scripted cable telecast among women aged 12 through 34. Switched also scored a few timeslot victories, earning a .8 rating among adults 18-34 that made it the night’s most-watched scripted cable program at 8 p.m.

Sounds like a victory to us.

Including tonight’s new installment of Pretty Little Liars, just three episodes of ABC Family’s mystery series remain before it signs off with March 19′s season finale, “A dAngerous gAme.” With our recent EW cover story “The Surprising Power of Pretty Little Liars,” the show’s stars and producers offered up some hints about the five most important revelations happening in Rosewood over the next three weeks.

1. Emily (Shay Mitchell) becomes more and more like a detective. She sets out to discover the truth about Toby (Keegan Allen) and his involvement with the “A” team. “Emily wants to give him the benefit of the doubt and say, ‘Then he must be doing it for a good reason because I don’t believe it,’” explains Mitchell. “Emily is like, ‘There has to be something bigger.’” And yes, Emily will find out something. “Is Toby good or bad?” asks exec producer I. Marlene King. “By the end of the season, viewers will know the answer to that question.”

'Gravity Falls' exclusive clip: Things are looking down

Gravity Falls takes its name from the small town that serves as the kooky cartoon’s setting — but in this week’s episode, Stan, Dipper, Mabel, and Soos will see that name get literalized when they find themselves descending into a bottomless pit.

Naturally, it’s a long way down; luckily, each member of the gang helps to pass the time by telling a different story to the group. Get a sneak peek at Mabel’s tale in the clip below –a colorful yarn involving a wild beast, a police officer, and a suspicious doctor’s note (“Stan is sick and needs a bear. — Dr. Medicine”)

And another one (possibly) bites the dust …

In tonight’s episode of Pretty Little Liars, “Out of Sight, Out of Mind,” the Liars continued their downward spiral(s). Aria struggled with her post-Malcolm relationship with Ezra, Hanna struggled with her mother’s secret, Emily struggled with Toby’s supposed betrayal, and Spencer struggled with Toby’s … dead body?! 'Pretty Little Liars' React: The return of the N.A.T. Club

Jason! CeCe! Melissa! Wren! This episode was full of so many familiar faces that I might have suffered some minor whiplash … but I know I’ll recover faster than Jason, who was dropped to his almost-death in an elevator. Was it the “A” team? Was it the N.A.T. Club? Let’s dig in! READ FULL STORY »

'Pretty Little Liars' sneak peek: The good doctor is in -- VIDEO

It’s like they always say: Someone is most dangerous when they have nothing left to lose. And now that Spencer has hit rock bottom, we think the members of the “A” team should be scared ones for once.

Like the episode title implies, Season 3, Episode 19 “What Becomes of the Broken-Hearted” looks to be all about how Spencer is dealing with Toby’s secret, Mona and … Wren? From ditching school to crying at school and even getting a message from “A” written on the inside of her sunglasses, it’s clear that Spencer isn’t holding up too well. And we aren’t the only ones who think so. Did we just hear that Mona calls Wren in order to give Spencer a treatment plan? And what is all this talk about the girl in the red coat? It looks like we’ve got another Mona versus Spencer showdown on our hands in this week’s episode. Place your bets now!

Watch three clips from this week’s Pretty Little Liars, airing Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET, below.

MY-LITTLE-PONY

Citius, Altius… Ponius?

That motto could probably use some work. In the meantime: The Equestria Games are afoot! (Ahoof?)

In this week’s episode of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, the Mane Six find themselves on a mission to help the once-cursed Crystal Empire win the honor of hosting a prestigious athletic competition. One of them is particularly determined to achieve this goal — as voice actress Ashleigh Ball explained to EW during our interview,  “Rainbow Dash, she’s especially nervous because when she was a filly, Cloudsdale had the opportunity to have the Games there — and it didn’t quite work out. So she’s really desperate to see the games happen in the Crystal Empire.” See how a tiny Rainbow Dash responded to the agony of defeat in this exclusive clip:

Berry Bitty City is home to a cornucopia of sweet citizens, including Cherry Jam, Lemon Meringue, Plum Pudding, and of course, Strawberry Shortcake. But there’s one fruity friend who’s been missing from the berry patch… until now.

On Feb. 23, Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures returns to The Hub with a season premiere that also introduces a face both old and new: Huckleberry Pie, the franchise’s first and only male lead. Nostalgic children of the ’80s — or “heritage fans,” as American Greetings calls them — may recognize him as a character who originated in Strawberry‘s initial incarnation over 20 years ago. First Generation Huck was a straw hat-wearing moppet with a perma-blush and a personality that owed a debt to Mark Twain. His 21st century counterpart, though, is decidedly more modern — starting with a look inspired by certain heartthrob pop star. READ FULL STORY »
